Terms of Service

1. Service description

MailDigest AI is a SaaS service that uses artificial intelligence to read, classify, and summarize the user's emails, generating structured digests delivered via email, Telegram, or other channels.

2. Acceptance of terms

By registering and using MailDigest AI, the user fully accepts these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

3. User account

• The user is responsible for the security of their login credentials
• Each account is personal and non-transferable
• The user must provide accurate information during registration
• The user must be at least 16 years old to use the service

4. Use of service

The user agrees to:

• Use the service in compliance with applicable laws
• Not attempt to access other users' data
• Not use the service to send spam or illegal content
• Not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code
• Not intentionally overload the service infrastructure

5. Gmail access

By connecting a Gmail account, the user authorizes MailDigest AI to:

• Read emails in read-only mode (gmail.readonly)
• Process email content through AI to generate digests

6. Plans and payments

• The service offers Starter, Pro, and Business plans with different features and limits, and prices shown on the activation page
• Using the service requires an active subscription or a trial in progress
• Free trial: each account is entitled to a single 3-day free trial. To start it you must choose a plan and enter a valid payment method
• Automatic charge: when the 3 days end, the subscription to the chosen plan starts automatically and the price is charged to the payment method you entered, unless you cancel before the trial expires
• You can cancel at any time from the subscription management portal available in the dashboard. If you cancel during the trial you are not charged; if you cancel afterwards, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• Subscriptions renew automatically each period until cancelled
• Payments are securely processed through Stripe; MailDigest AI does not store card details
• Right of withdrawal: for consumers in the European Union, starting the free trial constitutes an express request for immediate performance of the digital service. The right to withdraw within 14 days of concluding the contract can still be exercised by writing to legal@maildigest.ai; in that case the part of the price corresponding to the unused period is refunded
• No refunds are provided for partial periods other than in the cases required by law

7. Service availability

We strive to keep the service available but do not guarantee 100% uptime. Possible maintenance interruptions will be communicated in advance when possible. We are not responsible for interruptions caused by third parties (Gmail API, cloud providers, etc.).

8. Limitation of liability

AI-generated summaries are provided "as is". MailDigest AI does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of digests. The user is responsible for verifying critical information directly in the original emails. MailDigest AI is not responsible for decisions made based on generated digests.

9. Intellectual property

The service, software, design, and content of MailDigest AI are the exclusive property of the provider. The user retains ownership of their own data and email content.

10. Account deletion

• The user can request account deletion at any time
• Upon deletion, all user data will be removed within 30 days
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms

11. Changes to terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms. Significant changes will be communicated via email with at least 15 days' notice. Continued use of the service after notification constitutes acceptance of the changes.

12. Applicable law

These terms are governed by Italian law. For any dispute, the Court of Rome shall have jurisdiction.
